Local music label and Artist community "Surkeus Records" is embarking on a month-long fundraising effort to raise funds and awareness for the Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria from June 7th to July 9th.
The Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria is an interdisciplinary team of volunteers founded in 2018 to address the increasing demand for accessible mental health services and resources in the community. Visit www.mhsvictoria.org to learn more.
The Surkeus Records fundraising effort to support this noble mission will include donating the profits from the sale of several items, including a specially curated “sampler album” featuring song by every artist currently on the Surkeus Records label. All proceeds from the download of this album, including individual track downloads will be donated to the Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria. The sampler will also be available on CD at www.surkeusrecords.bandcamp.com and in select record shops and Farmers Markets in Victoria.
In addition, Surkeus Records has created a limited edition merchandise line to commemorate their partnership with the MHS. Specially designed T-Shirts, Hoodies and hats will be available for purchase by visiting the Merch Shop at the Surkeus Records website, www.surkeusrecords.com.
Proceeds will be donated to the Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria.
