Surkeus Records is embarking on a month-long fundraising effort to raise funds and awareness for the Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria from June 7th to July 9th.

The Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria is an interdisciplinary team of volunteers founded in 2018 to address the increasing demand for accessible mental health services and resources in the community.
The mission of the Society is to work collaboratively with various service providers and organizations to better support the diverse mental health needs of people in Greater Victoria, British Columbia.
The larger goal is to foster a community that speaks openly about mental health. For people who are new to the system, this means creating connections with the organization serving as a central hub for free education, training, and resource navigation. Ultimately, the Society hopes to equip the people of the greater community with all the tools and information they need to care for each other’s mental health.
The Surkeus fundraising effort to support this noble mission will include donating the profits from the sale of several items, including a specially curated “sampler album” featuring a song by every artist on the Surkeus Records label. All proceeds from the download of this album, including individual track downloads will be donated to the Mental Health Society of Greater Victoria. Stay tuned June 7th for album link and tracklist!

In addition, Surkeus Records has created a limited edition merchandise line to commemorate their partnership with the MHS. Specially designed T-Shirts, Hoodies and hats will be available for purchase by visiting the Merch Shop at the Surkeus Records website, www.surkeusrecords.com.
