Chaz Avery

Sometimes Carebear, sometimes Godfather, always charming: Drag King Chaz Avery has been making a name for himself in the drag community since his debut in March of 2016 with his energetic live performances, and also by producing & hosting the well-loved King Fling extravaganzas and monthly Dinner & A Drag Show at The Mint. These days you can often find him at Friends of Dorothy, particularly at the new regular show ManCrush Monday every third Monday.

 

Chaz has always been an avid supporter of local arts, especially music. Not only will you find him at many local musicians' shows, you'll often see him performing to songs by some incredibly talented local artists. He's thrilled to be a part of a community that incorporates so much of the amazing artistry that exists here.
