The title track garnered the honours of being the #5 song of the week for the second week of January 2017 on Ride The Tempo's charts. The album is said to resemble the sounds of Jeff Buckley, Ron Sexsmith, Radiohead, Deathcab for Cutie, and Patrick Watson among others.
Nick wasted no time in recording and releasing his sophomore record “Still I Remain” in June 2018. This album received positive reviews from 'Canadian Beats Media' and from 'Divide and Conquer Music'. Adam Dunbar of Canadian Beats Media surmised to say “The album sounds great, the production is outstanding, the musicians are all first order and on top of their craft. Nick’s vocal range is astonishing and he uses it to full advantage in the ten songs on Still I Remain [...]”
In January 2020, Nick released his single “I’ve Been Waiting”. 'Come Here Floyd' reviewed it to say “A blend of jazzy-standards vibes, laden with the indie-folk realization, ‘I’ve Been Waiting’ surely beckons the question of why it took so long to birth such imbued sentiments.”
Due to the long layoff from the global pandemic in 2020, Nick turned his efforts back to the studio and released an A-side B-side two song project called "So it Goes" in December of 2020. In July 2021 his first Live Ep 'Phantom' will be released. This was recorded live off the floor at the Barnhouse Studio in Qualicum, BC. Look out too, for a new project on the horizon being recorded with Marc Atkinson on Hornby Island.
