SOLA means "to stand on ones own" in spanish which ties her to her Argentinean roots while empowers her on her journey as an artist.

 

SOLA is a alt-indie singer/songwriter and guitarist that will captivate you with her healing voice and soulful, heartfelt guitar melodies. Her inspirations and influences for her sound come from Lianne La Havas, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and Emily King.

 

Based in Vancouver, SOLA has been trailblazing her way through venues with multiple arrangements of duo, trio, quartet, and seven piece bands. Her presence in the music scene and on stage has been felt by many as she continues to share her passion. She has been leaving audiences stunned by her unique and thought-provoking lyrics and message.

 

SOLA is a survivor of early childhood trauma and abuse which has lead her to find music as a path for healing and reconciling the darkness of her past. Her songs speak to her bringing a higher awareness to her pain with beautiful poetry and melody from the heart. She released her debut single “Finding You” under Business Class Records in March 2020. This single gave her the opportunity to open creative doors and explore new avenues with producer/engineer’s Tom Dobrzanski and Alex Penny of Monarch Studios. She has since released a follow up Remix collaboration with Alex Penney that you can find on all streaming platforms.
